All Preps have made a movie using Kahootz3 software. Students created 3 ten second scenes relating to their term topic of "Wild Animals". They inserted sound effects, 3D headings, animated and swatched animals, and a digital picture swatched on the face of an animated body. This is the first time they have used the software, and they learnt to save their work to their home drive and also save it as completed quicktime movie. Each class collection of movies plays one after the other - Prep A, B, C and then D. Well done!

Year 1's have learnt how to use Claymation Studio 2.0 for the first time. They used plasticine and goggle eyes to create the figures, and Jam Trax for the soundtrack. Each class collection of movies playing in order from 1A to 1D. Well done Year 1's for your first claymation movie!

Students then recorded their information using an MP3 recorder, and mixed a Jam Trax soundtrack with this recording using Audacity software. This is the first time these students have created an audio podcast.

Students then recorded their information using an MP3 recorder, and mixed a Jam Trax soundtrack with this recording using Audacity software. This is the first time these students have created an audio podcast.

Year 5's and 4/5S made audio podcasts with a partner in relation to their Gold topic. They imagined that they were interviewing someone from the 1850's in Australia (goldfields or sheep farmer), they researched the topic using Encarta Kids, Term Topic links and advanced search in the Connect search engine. Jam Trax was used to create the soundtrack, MP3 recorders were used to record the interview and the sounds were mixed using Audacity software. The podcasts play in order from 4/5S through to 5D.

Year 6's made audio podcasts with a partner in relation to their Space topic. They imagined that they were interviewing an alien from another planet, they researched the topic using Encarta Kids, Term Topic links and advanced search in the Connect search engine. Jam Trax was used to create the soundtrack, MP3 recorders were used to record the interview and the sounds were mixed using Audacity software. The podcasts play in order from 6A to 6D.
